An old man dies leaving four heirs; however, it is suspected that there is a criminal hand behind the demise. All four have motives, and all four could have done it; but apparently the old man taunted two of them before he died.
Commander Marte has to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of policeman Godinez. Later, he discovers that he has been kidnapped by a group of beautiful but malevolent women who demand a lot of money in exchange for the policeman.
