Raphie is an insomniac and a morgue porter. She collects the shoes of the dead, in order to record their stories. At a party where she happens to be, she meets a famous fashion designer with a special request.
When leaving an audition, Boris encounters Julia, who he hasn't seen for several years. Upset by seeing each other again, both confront a past that they'd fled.
