A young man, who is late, gets stuck in a line and must find a way to get out of there as quickly as possible, while dealing with a mysterious narrator who dictates his actions and thoughts and how his story will unfold.
In the last ten minutes of her contract, Amara, an environmental refugee, is interrogated by the corporation where she works, which demands that she make a decision. As time passes, she delves into fragments of memories, trying to reconstruct the order that led her there.
Different people retell the classic story, but each in their own way — influenced by their political, economic and ethical contexts. The short film shows how the way we see the world transforms even the most well-known stories and invites us to reflect on how this also happens in cinema.
