Adaptation of a French comedy, set in Paris, in which a lecherous man sets his sights on a beautiful married woman, whose husband is otherwise distracted.
On the evening of the wedding painter Maurice torments his jealousy. The call of the mysterious Monsieur Lambertier, splendid orchids in the apartment and a ring lost of his wife Germaine - all that keeps whirring around in Maurice's head.
