A lone teenager's only hope of getting accepted into his dream film school is by seeking help from some unexpected new friends at the Vali-Hi Drive-In Theatre.
When a kid learns that his parents plan to divorce after Christmas, he plots a series of wild schemes to try and reunite them. Along the way he gets help from his best friend, a girl who is NOT his girlfriend, and a talking Christmas tree.
