A curious group of friends sneak into an abandoned spinach canning factory to film a documentary on the legend of the "Sailor Man," who is said to haunt the factory and local docks.
Reyna, a high school cheerleader, struggles to come to terms with a recent sexual assault and through cheer practice learns to confront her trauma. With the help from the community around her, she is forced to acknowledge her pain and finds the courage to advocate for herself.
