Alan, a teacher from Iranian Kurdistan, having been exposed to have taught Kurdish kids their mother tongue - a major crime punished by death in Iran - immigrates to Sweden with his family.
Said, the main character in the film Another Place, lives in Sweden but longs to be somewhere else. His integrity is suddenly and brutally violated when the police ransack his apartment and brand him as a terrorist.
