Nadya is a talented pianist. She lives on an island and is in love with Misha, her neighbor, the owner of a motor boat. Music teacher Vera Sergeevna, having learned about Nadya’s talent, offers to give her music lessons. Nadya persuades Misha to take her to town for lessons on his boat.
Lisa doesn’t manage to get to the Perinatal Centre in time, and gives birth in a provincial maternity clinic where conditions fail to provide her with a safe delivery. The child is born with complications. Lisa has only 24 hours to make the most important decision in her life.
