Cinexpérimentaux is a series of documentaries on experimental filmmakers, produced and directed by Michel Amarger and Frédérique Devaux. N°8 is dedicated to the most important European cooperative Light Cone created in 1982 in Paris.
A nod to Germaine Dulac. I filmed brass discs with camera movements. The discs deform and create new shapes; sometimes they glimpse each other, overlapping to create abstract forms. The sound is computer-generated.
Graphic film. Intersecting lines. An exploration of visibility, some sequences are barely perceptible, disappear, then reappear. Lines, ruptures, erasures... But a set of lines moving together can also create a ballet. A film to sit back and watch time pass... and time has its own rhythm......
