A short film was created in the USSR in 1951, directed by Sergei Parajanov, Yakov Bazelyan. The leading roles were played by Konstantin Russu, K. Stirbu, Lyudmila Sokolova and others. The duration of the film was 48 min. Now lost.
In the centenary year since the founding of the Ballets Russe, this documentary looks back at Sergei Diaghilev and the company he created, what they did and the influence they had, even a 100 years later.
