After finishing his medical studies, Nader goes back to Iran. He opens up a clinic in one of the rich neighborhoods, but after a while he gets bored with rich and pampered customers and decides to open a clinic in the slums.
Mozaffar, the self-proclaimed poet and inventor has fallen in love with Goli. Goli has an older, rich suitor waiting for her. Now Mozaffar has to convince Goli that his love for her has more value than all the money and prestige in the world.
