In 1959, a new comic actor, Feridun Karakaya starts a series with Cilali Ibo (Ibo, the Polished One) and becomes popular around the 1960s and 1970s. Cilalı ibo Teksas Fatihi (Cilali Ibo the Texas Conqueror) is a parody/pastiche of the Western genre, scripted by Osman F. Seden.

Bedri is a poor man working in low jobs or stealing. He has a friend named Cilali İbo. Together they witness good and bad things of fate.

Metin and his best friend Zeki comes to Istanbul to get married. All of a sudden they become famous and funny stories start.

Turkan is tormented by thoughts of her turbulent family past that has been blighted by family rivalries and intrigues.

Ayşe has a traffic accident. Ali and his friend who hit Ayşe take her to the hospital and take care of her. Soon Ali and Ayşe become close, but Ali is older than Ayşe and his desires are very different. One day Ali calls Ayşe to his house and tries to have intercourse with her and she leaves...
