1957, New York. A Tibetan monk rents an automatic sequence computer. His goal is to list all of the names of God. Two Western engineers are hired to install and program the machine in Tibet.
The film tells us about shipwrecked people of love. Like a score of chamber music dominated by an atmosphere of voluptuous torpor, it evokes four passionate love stories in which darkness emphasizes the light of souls.
