On his pilgrimage to a temple to immerse the ashes of his mother in the sacred river, Rakhavan befriends a tribal family. He comes across the lives of the tribal people and their struggle.
Manu, Meera, Rafeeq, Ashok and Vijayakumar study together in a college. The five friends share a close bond and are always willing to fight for each other.
Rahulan is not able to muster enough courage to approach Reena's father to ask for her hand. Later when Rahulan falls in love with Meera, things get complicated.
