Germany, 1967. Ruby & Martin, a young couple, are rehearsing their uprising. The price is high: expulsion from school, parental violence, and ultimately institutionalization. But they are ready to take on the cause of love.
By juxtaposing images as in an assemblage the film brings two characters together, a foreign man and a girl from a Germany's small village, that have more in common than it would be expected in the first sight: the interest for photography, the loneliness and an out of the social context life.

A young woman is walking through the city. She meets a friend at a coffee shop. This friend tells her every detail about how she bought a bike the day before. The young women listens.
